- Local Storage: All your habits, progress, streaks, diary entries, and profile information are stored directly on your device. We do not transmit this data to external servers.
- No Personal Tracking: We do not collect personal identifiers, browsing history, or contact lists.
- No Third-Party Analytics: We do not use third-party tracking or advertising SDKs that harvest your personal behavior.
2. Permissions Explained
To provide a premium habit-tracking experience, Level Up requires the following permissions on your Android device:
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to send you daily reminders for your habits so you never miss a goal.
- Exact Alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Essential for delivering habit reminders exactly at the time you specify, even when the device is in power-saving mode.
- Boot Completion (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Allows the app to reschedule your reminders automatically after you restart your phone.
- Media/Storage Access: Only used when you choose to upload or change your profile picture within the app. We do not access any other files.
- Internet Access: Used solely for loading modern typography (Google Fonts) and ensuring a premium visual experience.
3. Data Security
Since your data is stored locally, its security depends on your device's security. We recommend using device-level encryption and screen locks to protect your personal habit history and diary entries.
4. Children's Privacy
Our app does not collect any personal information from children. It is safe for use by all age groups who wish to build better habits.
